A Googled History of the Furnishings for a Hotel Apartment

This is a site-specific series of photographs created for a Smartloft hotel / apartment in Berlin. I googled the visual history of each major appliance and placed the compilation above each object in the room. Each sequence began with nature, ran through the major developments of the object and ended with the image of a piece of contemporary art that used the object as part of the work. The bias of Google affected the choice of photos used.
